As a family medicine physician, Dr. Nguyen enjoys having the opportunity to care for patients of all ages: children to seniors. He has a special interest in adolescent medicine; helping young people through what can sometimes be both a physically and psychologically challenging time in their lives. Dr. Nguyen earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he was honored with the UCI/National Institutes of Health Research Fellowship Scholarship. While completing his medical residency training in Long Beach, Dr. Nguyen was also proud to be selected as the Chief Resident of Educational Affairs.

Dr. Nguyen is active in the community volunteering his time and medical expertise with several non-profit organizations. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese and speaks “medical” Spanish.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Vinh H. Nguyen for his exceptional patience and for truly listening to my concerns. Unlike many previous doctors who rushed through appointments, Dr. Vinh took the time to understand my symptoms without any interruptions. This experience was a wonderful surprise and restored my hope in quality healthcare.I also want to express my gratitude to Angel, Dr. Vinh's nurse, for being so gentle, polite, and attentive. Additionally, a special thanks to the three staff members at the front desk; they were incredibly patient and guided me with such kindness. Thank you, Dr. Vinh H. Nguyen, for your patience and for taking the time to listen to me describe my symptoms. You didn't rush, interrupt, or try to act hurried like some of my previous family doctors, most of whom made patients wait a long time only to finish the examination in 10 minutes. They hardly gave patients a chance to explain their symptoms, making me doubt their professional knowledge; perhaps they lacked confidence and expertise? Today, being examined by Dr. Vinh H. Nguyen filled me with joy and surprise, and my hope was greatly increased. The doctor was very understanding and truly listened to his patients. My experience today with Dr. Vinh H Nguyen reminded me that in the past I wasted my time and health by placing my trust and care in the wrong place. But now I am fortunate to have met the right doctor, Dr. Vinh H Nguyen, who is very professional. When I told my husband, my mother, my sister, and my niece about my experience with Dr. Vinh today, they immediately wanted him to be their family doctor.
