About
Susan Lee, DO was always drawn to biology and physiology, so a career in medicine seemed like a natural fit. Throughout her studies, she decided to focus on family medicine due to its versatility. She enjoys being able to practice anything from sports medicine, urgent care, inpatient medicine and outpatient care.
Dr. Lee feels privileged to be joining her patients during their health journey and believes that it is essential for a physician to provide continuity of care. She is looking forward to utilizing her background in epidemiology and public health and finds great satisfaction in focusing on primary care and preventative medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lee has a wide variety of interests. She enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling and trying new restaurants. Born and raised in southern California, she is fluent in Spanish and conversational Korean.

I was on the search for a new primary care provider and gynecologist after putting up with poor care from my previous PCP for years bc I had the same one since graduating from my pediatrician and thought that's just how all doctors everywhere would be LOL I was so wrong! I'm in grad school so I didn't have a lot of time to try out new doctors. I saw Dr. Lee on Yelp and she was the first new doctor I tried out- I got so lucky! Also, I found out Dr. Lee does both primary care and gynecological care which is super convenient since I also needed to find a gynecologist! I hadn't seen any reviews for her on Yelp so I was a little nervous but urgent care expenses were making me desperate to find a new PCP within network of my insurance so I figured: could it hurt to try Dr. Lee? When I walked into the office, it was decorated a ton and everyone was dressed up all festive for Christmas and everyone was nice and seemed happy to be there. The office has many types of rooms and equipment so a lot of your care can be done in the same location, which is convenient as well. Dr. Lee seemed younger than I thought she would be but she is so experienced, wise, helpful, and knowledgeable. She is the perfect doctor! She took the time to get to know me personally as an individual by looking over my file before coming into the exam room and she knew all about my medical history! She listened as I explained my awful past medical history and she quickly ordered what I needed and didn't invalidate anything I was concerned about. She was super fun and easy to talk to/approachable/not judgmental about any problem I thought I might have and even AFTER I left the office, she went above and beyond in her care when she left smiley faces in her comments on my test results in the app and remembered something that happened to me in the past and addressed that in her comments as well. It's really the little things that matter and make a difference! I had a Pap smear done during my first visit which would've been a terrible and awkward experience with anyone else but it was an entirely painless procedure with Dr. Lee there- I wasn't intimidated or scared at all because she was a very comforting presence and kept me talking through it so it was a breeze! The test results arrived quickly and she commented on each one to make sure I didn't have any lingering questions. At most offices, you have to go through hoops and call the receptionist desk to find out what your results were and most doctors rush and seem to want to get rid of you LOL but not with Dr. Lee, she's the best I've ever had!!! I 100/10 super recommend her to anyone, she's so sweet and caring!!! I'm so happy with my experience and that I finally found a PCP who is everything I could want in a doctor!!:) also I wrote a lot bc this is the only review up right now and I almost didn't go to her because I didn't see any reviews so if you're seeing this and not sure, you should definitely go see Dr. Lee! Also I'm not a bot or being paid or something like that haha I'm a real person LOL

Susan was friendly, amazing and informative. I did not give a 10 because there were no transitions sentence. Towards the end the last thing I heard from Susan was something like “I’ll go get your vaccine”. I was under the impression we were not done talking. I had follow up questions that weren’t answered. I’m not even sure I got the physical I was there for. However, my initial questions were answered.
