My doctor is invested in my health and wellbeing. She gives me truthful and helpful feedback and lays out the facts for me, with consideration of all aspects of my personal life. Today’s visit was difficult and much needed. The medical assistant there today was professional, but was also extremely receptive to my emotional well being. Dr Gaikwad made time to see my husband via video. I called her office at 10 am, they called us back by 11 and scheduled the appt at 12:30. She fit him in even though she was booked up for the next 12 days. We greatly appreciate her fast response and reassurance that what appeared to be a broken blood vessel in his eye, which she examined online, was not serious. We were very relieved!

I booked a virtual appointment on My Chart for Dr. Gaikwad. I wrote a personal email to the Doctor and asked if she is able to treat a specific disorder. This is so I do not waste her time and my money. I never got a response. I followed up with a second email, again no response. When the appointment happened, I asked her if she could treat a specific disorder and she COULD NOT. SURPRISE, I got a bill. I contacted the office and informed them what I did and they apologized and saw my emails and dropped the ball. I had a 12 dollar balance after my insurance paid for this, (no care appointment.) Of course I did not pay the 12 dollars that they billed me, and they decided to send it to a collection agency. I am furious! They are taking advantage of the healthcare system and patients. This has to stop!!!!!
