Sarah W Chiu, MD

Sarah Chiu, M.D., is a dedicated and accomplished cardiologist, quadruple board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine.

Dr. Chiu has advanced training in clinical non-invasive cardiology and is committed to delivering evidence-based, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Her clinical interests include preventive cardiology and women’s heart health.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Chiu has a strong interest in medical education. As a cardiology fellow, she mentored residents and medical students on inpatient cardiology services and in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), leading teaching sessions and clinical discussions. She was also actively involved in research during medical training, with multiple publications and national presentations on stress cardiomyopathy, lipid management, and disparities in cardiovascular care, presented at the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

Dr. Chiu values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and takes pride in providing personalized care to individuals from all backgrounds. She speaks and writes in intermediate Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and Spanish, allowing her to connect meaningfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys yoga, running, exploring new cuisines, and traveling with family and friends.
