Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Damoui practiced family and emergency medicine in her home country. In 1996, she obtained a position as a research associate in Epidemiological Cardiology at the University of Southern California (USC); then followed that with a position in the Heart and Lung Center in Beverly Hills. After completing her United States internship and residency program she spent a year as the Medical Director for a Hospice program in Texas. In 2003, Dr. Damoui returned to California and her first love, Family Medicine.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and going shopping.

I always appreciate the efficiency of the Memorialcare providers and staff. My recent visit was for preop clearance. I had to be scheduled with Dr. Damoui, as my provider was on vacation and the clearance was time sensitive. The clearance took just a few minutes because she had reviewed all pertinent history and labs before my visit and the physical exam just took a few minutes. I appreciate that all the medical assistants promptly arranged the tests and the visit and kept in touch with me. The process was seamless.

She was very aggressive with me and not very friendly and kept getting mad because her computer wouldn’t work. She kept slamming on the keyboard. She was very nice and explained things but she gave me meds that I can't take. The pharmacist wouldn't give them to me because of reaction it would have with one of my regular meds. I called and sent a message, sent one on my chart and pharmacist sent a message and we never heard back.
