About
A native Californian, Dr. Chang grew up in Orange County and is excited to be back serving his hometown communities. He credits a college job working in his pediatrician’s office as the inspiration for becoming a physician. He enjoyed working in Pediatrics, but ultimately chose Family Medicine because he wanted to build a long-term relationship with his patients and watch them grow.
I believe doctors are meant to be a partner in their patients’ health; a team that will work together to optimize the patient’s well-being. I encourage my patients to be well-informed and active members in their own health care team. While caring for them, I’ll help them understand primary disease prevention, disease processes and managements available. Plus, I’m a good listener and I encourage questions.
When not in the office, Dr. Chang enjoys swimming, hiking, and cycling activities. He also likes to read science fiction, watch movies, go bowling, and tryout new restaurants.

From the moment you walk into the office and check in it’s only a few minutes when doctors nurse comes out to get you. She is so warm and engaging. He is the best bedside manner and he knows his patience so well he’s really good about ruling out different hypothesis when there’s an issue trying out different tests and push pushing for approval when he thinks that something should be approved. as with every visit w Dr Chang, he always takes his time and talks to you, addresses your issues, & always has an accurate diagnosis and solution.If this was 100 years ago, he would be a tremendous small town, family Doctor Who can address a lot of different issues than just general family medicineI continually thank God for bringing Dr. Chang across my path to take care of me for these many years and especially now that in my 70s
