About
Jennifer Perdomo, MD, attended medical school at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She went on to complete her residency in family medicine at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. As a first-generation Latina, she was inspired by her upbringing to address healthcare disparities and socioeconomic challenges within her community. Motivated to provide culturally responsive care, she chose MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center for her training and remained as academic faculty due to her deep interest in reproductive justice and women's health.
As a family medicine doctor, Dr. Perdomo takes pride in her ability to care for patients of all ages during their most vulnerable times. She values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients, supporting them in achieving not only their health goals but also their life aspirations. This shared journey with patients is a humbling and unique experience, one she cherishes. Dr. Perdomo also appreciates the continuity of care she can offer as a family medicine practitioner, often tending to several generations within the same family.
Dr. Perdomo grew up in Los Angeles, California and was raised in a Salvadorian-American household, where Spanish served as her first language. Beyond the realm of medicine, Dr. Perdomo finds enjoyment in staying active, dancing, exploring new culinary experiences, and spending quality time with her son, engaging in his fascination with animals and insects.
