About
A native of southern California, Dr. Luther came to MemorialCare in 1993 after some time in private practice in Oxnard and Torrance. He was attracted to family medicine for its breadth and for the opportunity to have lasting relationships with his patients across the age spectrum.
As a faculty member of the Family Medicine Residency Program at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, he balances his time providing patient care with teaching the next generation of family physicians, a role he especially prizes. This has also allowed him to continue practicing full-spectrum care from early childhood to the end of life, in both the office and hospital settings. Additionally, he still accompanies his residents on house calls regularly. Outside of the office, he enjoys music, sports (especially soccer), cooking and travel.

Dr Luther has been the family's Primary Care Physician for a couple of years now. From the very first visit, I knew that Doctor Luther would be a keeper.Dr Luther practices at Memorial Care. His office building is connected to the Memorial Care hospital in Long Beach at 450 East Spring Street.There is plenty of parking. Parking validation is available check out. There is a large waiting room. Office visits are always smooth and the wait is fairly minimal. Staff members are always friendly and smiley.Dr Luther is experienced, kind, patient and attentive to his patient's needs. He is also very responsive. We have been very happy and thankful for his care as well as with the Memorial Care System overall.I highly recommend Dr. Luther and Memorial Care.

Bad Doctor;I have not been back to this doctor in a couple of years because Dr Jeffrey Luther was unresponsive and not willing to get back to me or answer my inquiries. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. J. Luther is my brother's PCP. And my bro'health is declining and has issues with diabetes. He seems to ignore my brother's and schedules his appointments too far out. After seeing another doctor it was completely diff experience. 100% better experience
