About
Since completing specialty training in 1986, Dr. Bustillo has enjoyed a successful career in southern California as an OB/GYN physician and recently joined MemorialCare Medical Group.
Dr. Bustillo offers a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecological care, from preconception planning to delivering babies, to menopause care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He has been performing minimally invasive procedures for over 25 years, and over the last few years has expanded his surgical expertise to include Da Vinci robotic options. Dr. Bustillo is one of the few gynecologists in California trained in the new single-site robotic platform, which allows for an entire surgical procedure, such as a hysterectomy, to be performed through one small incision in the navel.
Of Cuban heritage, Dr. Bustillo is fluent in Spanish and also French. He has been married for over thirty years and has four wonderful children, including a set of triplets. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, staying fit, and spending time with his family.
I enjoy being a physician because of the opportunity to develop long-term, health-promoting relationships with my patients over the years. My special areas of interest include reproductive genetics, menopause, abnormal PAP smears, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy. I consider myself an advocate for women, children, and the family, and thoroughly enjoy the challenges of being the father of four children, including a set of triplets. I do not perform pregnancy terminations.

Also, very informative about what needs to be done for a future well being. Also, the nurses in the surgey recovery department are all amazing. My stay experience was comforting and caring. The kitchen and cleaning employees were all very helpful, nice and amazing. I also want to include the nurses in the surgery prep room who made me feel at ease and calm before the surgery.
