About

Eduardo Amezcua, MD, has been involved with MemorialCare long before he was even a concept. Dr. Daisy Tint, MD, who has since retired, first treated his mother before he was even born and they finally met when Eduardo was only two weeks old. Dr. Tint’s compassion towards his family for the next 30 years showed him what a physician-patient relationship could be, which inspired him to become a family medicine doctor.

Dr. Amezcua spent his whole life in Aliso Viejo, but took a brief hiatus to San Francisco and Visalia, California for medical school and residency, respectively. While in the Central Valley, he fell in love with his community of patients and hospital staff, winning resident of the year for his role as a teacher. Dr. Amezcua’s mentality is that when you are his patient, he will treat you like a family member by providing evidence-based medicine and staying up to date with current medical literature while providing a nurturing environment for questions.

In his free time, Dr. Amezcua has a variety of different interests. He enjoys mountaineering and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Fuji in pursuit of the dream to climb the seven summits one day. He also enjoys weightlifting, salsa dancing, Brazilian Jiujitsu, and reading. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.

He was so nice , my son is Autistic and was a bit upset to find out his ear drum may have burst. The Dr. Amezcua took the time to explain everything to him and let him know things would be ok.
