About

Edgar Ureno-Garcia, MD, initially was pursuing a career in molecular biology, but quickly realized his desire to teach and care for as many people from all walks of life was far greater than his desire to work in a laboratory. He dedicates his passion in the field of Family Medicine and advocating for his patients. Dr. Ureno-Garcia believes teaching his patients along their health journey is important for their overall treatment. 

I teach during each encounter about any and all medical problems while also taking time to explain thoroughly any and all recommended treatment options. After doing this we discuss and jointly formulate the best plan to address each issue together. 

Dr. Ureno-Garcia is ready to work together with patients to create individualized, effective treatment plans so they may live longer, healthier lives. Being a Family Medicine physician, he likes to get to know each of his patients better and take care of them for life.  

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time traveling to and exploring National Parks with his partner. Growing up he played several sports and continues to enjoy basketball, golf and tennis.
