About
Catherine Nguyen, MD chose a career in medicine because it allowed her the unique opportunity to build meaningful and therapeutic relationships with her patients. As an active volunteer in both high school and college, she found a passion for serving her community and sought opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Eventually, she decided to become a Family Medicine physician in order to fulfill her goal of caring for the health and well-being of patients of all ages.
I am grateful for the privilege to get to know each of my patients as an individual by striving to learn about them beyond their physical conditions. My hope is to use a holistic approach to build individualized treatment plans and to provide advice, empathy and support to help my patients achieve their health goals.
Dr. Nguyen finds the greatest satisfaction in forming strong, interpersonal relationships with her patients and is humbled to have the chance to be a part of their health journey. She enjoys helping her patients make well-informed medical decisions and is always there to provide support.
In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys discovering new cuisine and exploring local restaurants, doing arts and crafts, working on home interior design projects, visiting farmers markets and botanical gardens, and traveling to different cities abroad. Her favorite moments, however, are spent with her husband and young son, who continually remind her of the important things in life, whether big or small.
