Even if she was running behind, we were actually seen in very good time. Dr. Gretchen was very attentive and made sure to check in with both of us parents to see if we were good with her plan. My son just happened to be sick during his annual physical, but we were able to continue the Physical and get all of our questions answered thoroughly. We appreciate Dr. Gretchen‘s bedside manner and her overall consideration she was also very gentle and thoughtful with her approach to our son.

Doctor Gritchen is fantastic - she is able to describe both her diagnosis, background science and her overall thought process when we came in with a sick infant. She’s great with the baby and works efficiently (we got X-rays and she came out of a lunch meeting to read the scan immediately).She also described what the next thing we should look for as parents to make sure the baby is recovering as expected. The instructions to “look for X to occur by Thursday, otherwise come back in and we’ll check it out” are easy to follow and extremely re-assuring as first-time parents with a sick infant.

There is no better pediatrician. I dare you to try to find one. Dr Gritchen has been carrying for all 3 of my kids since my oldest was 9 months and we moved into the area. We've since moved 20 minutes away but still see her because she is 100% worth the drive. Her nurse, Daisy, is a GEM! Both are super responsive via MyChart and Daisy always finds a way to squeeze us in for same day appointments. Dr Gritchen is kind, compassionate, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She always listens, never cuts you off and I never feel rushed. She indulges my every question and always gives me her full attention. One of my kiddos has extreme medical fear/anxiety and both Dr. Gritchen and Daisy are so patient with him. I could not recommend anyone more. They are simply the BEST!

Dr.Gritchen was so amazing! As first time parents it’s nice when someone understands and answers all our concerns. She listens and gave us great advice and tricks for my breast feeding journey.

Dr. Gritchen is so patient and answers any questions or concerns we have. My girls don’t have any hesitations seeing her. Her nurse, Daisy, on the other hand, is less than pleasant. My husband and I feel like any time we are seen for a checkup, it’s a big inconvenience to her. We don’t feel very welcomed by her. Not to mention the constant mispronunciation of both my daughters’ names. Even after we correct her, she dismisses us. We love Dr. Gritchen, but her nurse makes our visit feel like a chore to her.

She is honest about her observations and always provides options. The reason why I’m giving an 8 is because the last two times I have been there I have had to wait 40+min after my sons vitals are taken, while Dr Gritchen finishes with another patient, although I’m on time for my appointment. I find that very inconvenient due to the fact that I feel like my time is not being respected and as a mom most of the time after my sons appointments I have other appointments/errands that get delayed and sometimes canceled due to the extensive amount of time I wait. The office has a 15 min grace period for patients who are running late so I feel like they should definitely keep our time in mind the same way they expect patients to keep theirs.

While Dr. Gritchen had lots of good information for us, her communication style made my wife feel judged, shamed and overwhelmed. Dr. gritchen made her feel that she made a near irreversible mistake by taking a day's break from breastfeeding in order to heal her bloody, scabbed nipples. It felt as if she was not listening to anything we said, and instead just wanted to lecture us. The appointment lasted over an hour, and we were both exhausted and drained by the end of it.

This doctor has no consideration for her patients. I understand the 15 minute grace period perfectly well. However, things happen and she doesn't seem to be able to empathize with moms who are trying to work and care for their kids at the same time. My appointment was at 4:15 and after rushing through traffic and picking up my daughter I rushed to the doctor's office. At exactly 4:24 I called the call center to let them know I was 2 minutes away because there is no direct number to these doctors. By the time I get out of the car and walk upstairs it's 4:28. The girl at the front desk called the back and then tells me that I can't be seen!!! I couldn't believe it. I'm coming here because my child needs medical care not to get my hair done. Have some compassion for God's sake. I asked to talk to the doctor personally, but instead she sent her LVN. When I asked her why the doctor wouldn't see me, the LVN said the doctor had waited for me until 4:25 and then left for the day. So I said "so she left before my grace period was over" She responded "oh I thought your appointment was at 4:00 that's why I said that." But why would the doctor wait for me for 25 minutes if my appointment had been at 4:00, but only for 13 minutes if my appointment was at 4:15? So, no matter what the facts are, they will find a way to justify why they won't see you. No matter what your circumstances are. So sad.
