*Dr. Nguyen is only accepting patients 18 years old and over.
Au-Co Nguyen, DO, studied osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University in Arizona and went on to complete a family medicine residency at Community Health of South Florida, Inc. Dr. Nguyen also completed a geriatric fellowship at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Florida. She chose a career in geriatric medicine because she wants to make a difference in patients' lives, both mentally and physically. Geriatrics is a subspecialty needed for the aging. With the growing aging population with complex health issues, such as polypharmacy and dementia, she wanted to be part of this subspecialty that is able to give a different approach in medicine and give patients the best quality of life.
Dr. Nguyen’s grandmother played a big role for her to become a geriatrician. She had Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, which also caused many other health issues. Dr. Nguyen would like to help her patients live the best lives they can.
As a physician, I will listen to my patients and try different approaches to their health. Medicine is an art and is not black and white. I make sure my patients' needs are a part of their health plan.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Huntington Beach, California. Outside of medicine, Dr. Nguyen enjoys doing yoga, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and playing with her dog, a springer spaniel named Lady, who is trained to hunt for truffles.

I really appreciate that Dr. Nguyen comes prepared to my visit, whether In-office or virtual, with the information on my chart from tests or visits with other doctors to whom I’ve been referred. Not only does it save time, but it gives me more confidence that she would not recommend a treatment or medication that was contraindicated by other conditions that have been diagnosed , and treatments and meds that have been prescribed by those other doctors. She always has the whole picture, and also keeps me up to date with when vaccinations and annual tests are due.

Dr. NNguyen,Has been my primary care doctor for sometime now. Does not listen to patient. Rushes patient and makes a lot of assumptions. Does not ask appropriate questions. Left feeling frustrated and my concern not at all addressed. Was told that I probably only thought I gained weight because whatever scales I am using is not calibrated correctly. Never asked what was going on with my life that never asked and probing questions or showed any interest in understanding how I arrived to come to her office for a visit. Considering that I rarely ever go to the doctor, I would hope that she understood I was only there because my situation was frustrating me. But she was very dismissive and took no time to really understand my situation . I will never go back to her for a visit.
