About
Elise Vo, MD, studied medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She went on to complete her residency in OB/GYN at Creighton University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Vo decided to pursue medicine because she wanted to use science-based problem solving to guide people, particularly through important life events. Surgical specialties interested her, however when she delivered her first baby as a medical student, she knew women’s health was the perfect specialty for her.
I enjoy collaborating with patients to address the wide variety of issues that are related to women's health. I also love being able to care for patients from adolescence through menopause, as I believe a strong relationship between patient and physician is crucial to safe and holistic care. As a woman physician for women, I feel privileged to guide patients with respect, knowledge, and shared decision-making. I am committed to empowering my patients to make the best decisions for their health.
Dr. Vo grew up in Seal Beach, California. Outside of medicine, Dr. Vo likes to explore new places to surf, experiment with new baking recipes, and plan outdoor adventures with her family.

She paused multiple times in the session to ask if I had any questions and did an amazing job of explaining thing to me and my husband. Dr. Vo is so kind and clearly and genuinely cares. Her care was beyond just examining my body. We also talked (not at lengths but at what I felt was an appropriate level) about my mom who is battling cancer, and she gave me recommendations for a couple of doctors who may be able to help us manage her medical needs while she’s here in CA visiting me and my family.Also, the wait time was minimal. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The staff was professional. The phlebotomist was very skilled.It was impressive how quickly my blood test results were reported and shared with me through MyChart. It was a less than 24-hour turnaround time! It’s also neat to see my medical records from past MemorialCare encounters were in the system, though incomplete since I was not diligently using MemorialCare providers. It would be nice if I can update my MyChart records to include things medical services or events that my shingles vaccine that I got on 9/10/2023. It’s curious how MyChart has record of my flu shot on the same day (9/10/2023), but it doesn’t have a record of my shingles shot.All around, this has been only the second doctor/group in my life that I’ve felt so comfortable with. Thank you for the excellent service you and your group provide! Perhaps now I’ll be more apt to keep up with my annual check ups. 🙂

Excellent experienceI saw Dr. Vo for almost the entirety of my first pregnancy. At each visit, she was attentive and really listened to every question or concern. Even visits where I didn't feel I had much to ask or say, she prompted me with things I might be interested in, and made time to explain and talk things through. She is easy to talk to and genuinely kind and interested in her patients. I felt in excellent hands with Dr. Vo. Even though she wasn't there for my delivery (that was Dr. Devin, who I would also highly recommend), My entire pregnancy experience with MemorialCare was exceptional.
