A native Californian, Dr. Chang grew up in Orange County and is excited to be back serving his hometown communities. He credits a college job working in his pediatrician’s office as the inspiration for becoming a physician. He enjoyed working in Pediatrics, but ultimately chose Family Medicine because he wanted to build a long-term relationship with his patients and watch them grow.
I believe doctors are meant to be a partner in their patients’ health; a team that will work together to optimize the patient’s well-being. I encourage my patients to be well-informed and active members in their own health care team. While caring for them, I’ll help them understand primary disease prevention, disease processes and managements available. Plus, I’m a good listener and I encourage questions.
When not in the office, Dr. Chang enjoys swimming, hiking, and cycling activities. He also likes to read science fiction, watch movies, go bowling, and tryout new restaurants.
