About
A native Californian, Dr. Chang grew up in Orange County and is excited to be back serving his hometown communities. He credits a college job working in his pediatrician’s office as the inspiration for becoming a physician. He enjoyed working in Pediatrics, but ultimately chose Family Medicine because he wanted to build a long-term relationship with his patients and watch them grow.
I believe doctors are meant to be a partner in their patients’ health; a team that will work together to optimize the patient’s well-being. I encourage my patients to be well-informed and active members in their own health care team. While caring for them, I’ll help them understand primary disease prevention, disease processes and managements available. Plus, I’m a good listener and I encourage questions.
When not in the office, Dr. Chang enjoys swimming, hiking, and cycling activities. He also likes to read science fiction, watch movies, go bowling, and tryout new restaurants.

He is the best bedside manner and he knows his patience so well he’s really good about ruling out different hypothesis when there’s an issue trying out different tests and push pushing for approval when he thinks that something should be approved. He’s not condescending he doesn’t ignore your concerns. He’s a great listener and he’s smart. I wouldn’t want any other doctor right now.
