About
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at UC Davis, Dr. Karimabadi completed some Post-Baccalaureate work in Biology at the University of California, San Francisco, before returning to UC Davis for her medical degree. During her residency at Northridge Family Medicine, she was honored as Chief of Medicine Service.
I value the collaboration between the patient, physician, and other specialty services to achieve a common goal towards each individual’s mental and physical health.
Dr. Karimabadi likes working through complex medical issues using evidence-based medicine. She is particularly interested in all aspects of women’s health and adolescent care.
When not in the office, Dr. Karimabadi enjoys spending time with her family, doing Yoga, painting, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Karamibodi is wonderful. She listens to everything and she’s very thorough in discussing what’s going on with me and recommending what I need to do. She always takes her time.

Extremely trustworthy!I love seeing Dr. K.Let's be real, going to the doctor's is never an exciting endeavor, however, Dr. K and her staff make this process as painless as possible. No matter the problem they are willing to actively listen and address and respond to it to the best of their ability!

I like Dr. Karimabadi. She’s been my PCP for a number of years now, since she first came to the Rancho Santa Margarita facility. In that time she’s gotten a lot better at listening to my concerns as well as being proactive about my health. I continued to retain her as my PCP after she moved to the Dana Point facility even though it’s less convenient for me.

Don't pretend to be a dermatologistMy primary care doctor in MemorialCare Medical Group referred me to her for a dermatology issue. She froze something on my upper lip which later came back. She also suggested that she could cut it off and maybe hide the scar. Later I saw an actual dermatologist and it turned out to be nothing requiring that kind of treatment. She is not a dermatologist. I'm glad I didn't allow further treatment with this practitioner.
