About
Dr. Nancy Han is a board-certified gastroenterologist who sees a broad range of patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions. Dr. Han received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California. She then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Han is board certified in gastroenterology.
Her practice includes general gastroenterology with interests in GERD, peptic ulcer disease, colorectal cancer screening, IBS, IBD, viral hepatitis, and fatty liver disease. Her clinical interests include hepatobiliary disease, liver disease, and IBD.
In addition to upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr. Han has specialized training in capsule endoscopy, ambulatory pH testing and esophageal manometry.
Dr. Han enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly if the activities involve delicious food and travel.
Dr. Han is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

Help for my GI tractI've been seeing Dr. Han since 2023 with what I thought was a straight forward issue. Come to find out, it's not, and Dr. Han has been amazing with trying to figure out what the issue is. She started small with some prescription pill trials and blood/allergy testing. I also had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done to visually check my GI tract. Since everything looks fine, but I'm still having issues, we've moved on to more specific procedures to hopefully nail down a diagnosis.During this entire time, Dr. Han has been so upbeat and professional. She listens intently when I explain any issues that I'm having and will research anything to help with a treatment. She tries to keeps everything in-network and low cost as best as she can. All in all, it's been a pleasure having her as my doctor.

What I like is that she starts with the easy/small stuff first to see if any of that helps. Thank you, Dr. HanDr. Nancy Han was my doctor for 2 colonoscopies in April & Oct of 2022. In April, 2022 Dr. Han tattooed my colon at the site of a sessile polyp, it was quite large, and she knew it might be difficult to completely remove. She arranged another colonoscopy in 6 months, which was done in Oct, 2022. The procedure, showed remnants of the sessile polyp and she did not have the tools to completely remove it.During a consultation in Nov, 2022 Dr. Han recommended the options of having another colonoscopy or have surgery to remove the polyp. We both decided that another colonoscopy, at UCI Health, would be the best option. I had the colonoscopy in Jan, 2023 by Dr. John Lee of UCI Health, and he was able to fully remove the sessile polyp. The success of the procedure negated the need to have surgery.I want to personally thank Dr. Han for her professionalism, foresight (tattooing my colon, 10 months before my latest colonoscopy), and concern for my condition and situation
