Dr. Barnes is board certified in family medicine and joined the Long Beach office in 2010. She received her doctorate of medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed her residency training at Long Beach Memorial.
She enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management. Some of her particular interests include women's health, pediatrics, and diabetes.
When not working, Dr. Barnes enjoys traveling, running, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She went above and beyond by having the phlebotomists come to the room to draw my blood so I could stay lying down and not risk fainting. She made me feel very in control of the Pap smear and tried to help in many different ways, including letting me listen to music, having an ice pack, checking in regularly and then giving me water after.
