Dr. Kien-An Duong chose a career in medicine as a way to "give back" to the community who helped him and his family when they first immigrated to this country.
Dr. Duong looks forward to establishing long-term relationships with his patients and getting to know the patient's families as well. He believes along with treating and healing, educating and learning from his patients are very important; "To teach is to learn."
Outside of medicine, Dr. Duong enjoys watching and participating in sports, going to the movies, dining, and attending family gatherings.

Care and knowledgeDr Duong is caring and very knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand your condition and treatment plan. He even calls on the weekends to see how your doing if your were released from the hospital

Doctor paid a little attention to me as he was educating a nurse practitioner who was sitting in on my visit. Gave me a lecture on safety issues, etc. I don’t think he even looked at the five pages of questionnaire. I spent 30 minutes filling out. I was very disappointed
