About
Dr. Komanapalli was born in Newport Beach and grew up in Orange County. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine, she attended medical school in Illinois before returning to California to complete her medical training at Loma Linda. She has been practicing in Orange County since 1999.
Dr. Komanapalli decided on a career in medicine to fulfill her life-long desire to make a positive impact in the lives of her community.
My parents always encouraged me to use my life in service to others. I feel it is an honor and a blessing to be a physician. I chose the field of internal medicine because it allows me the opportunity to have long term relationships with my patients. I love helping them overcome obstacles and live healthier, happier lives. I truly care about my patients and want to partner with them to reach their health goals.
Outside of the office, Dr. Komanapalli enjoys gardening, reading, traveling and hiking to keep fit.

I'm sorry that I referred my daughter to this doctor as I had seen her in the past. She came in for a specific issue but left feeling shamed because she was told she had an eating disorder. Far from the truth! In fact I was the same size and weight when I was my daughter's age. Not everyone is meant to fit a Western Medicine mold. Do yourself a favor and be your own health advocate and find a functional medicine doctor that cares and listens to you for more than 10 minutes, and doesn't expect a 5-star review after the first visit.
