Welcome to the Patient & Family Advisory Council at Orange Coast Medical Center
Partnerships with patients and families are the foundation of excellence in patient- and family-centered care. At Orange Coast Medical Center, our patients and their families are valued members of their medical care team.
The empowering relationship among patients, families, and health care professionals enables patients to become more aware and better educated about how to contribute to their own well-being. Their concerns and opinions are valued and addressed by an innovative health care culture and approach.
To further develop and enhance these team partnerships, the Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC) serves as the voice for patients and their families. Council members include current or former patients or their family members. By sharing personal insights and experiences, council members contribute valuable stories, awareness, perceptions, and understanding to this collaborative partnership.
Our Council Members
When you join PFAC, you become part of a group of engaged and enthusiastic members who bring diverse experiences, expertise, and viewpoints. This diversity fosters open, lively, and in-depth discussions, where individuals feel comfortable sharing their stories to contribute fresh ideas and solutions for improvement. Over the years, many of these ideas and solutions have been implemented, significantly enhancing the patient experience.
