About

From a young age, Dustin Shea possessed a deep curiosity about the medical field—often sparked by chasing ambulances as a child—and an innate desire to help others. “My career as a physician assistant has evolved from dermatology to internal medicine, ultimately leading to my true passion: gastroenterology and liver disease,” he says. “Throughout the years, I have been fortunate to learn from many influential mentors on shaping my clinical approach and decision-making philosophy. But it is with great pleasure that I am rejoining my colleagues Drs. Babak Firoozi, Nancy Han, and Vincent Kao.”

Before becoming a physician assistant, Dustin served as a U.S. Army Medic with assignments in Georgia, West Point, Germany and Kosovo. Then, as now, he feels that the meaningful connections formed with patients, the smiles shared, and the trust patients place in him are the most rewarding aspects of his profession.

“When you entrust your care to me, know that I am fully committed to your health and well-being. I take that responsibility seriously and work diligently to provide the best possible outcomes.”

I really liked the nurse that helped me. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name at the moment. She’s a wonderful nurse. I appreciate her very much.
