About
Andrew Le, DO, is a sports medicine physician at MemorialCare Medical Group. Dr. Le completed his medical education at Western University of Health Sciences. During his time there he was the recipient of multiple scholarships and awards in family medicine, was the President of the Sports Medicine Club, and ultimately graduated with honors. He went on to complete his residency, elected Chief Resident, at Kaiser Permanente’s Woodland Hills Family Medicine Program. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Sports Medicine Program. During his time there, his research was selected to present at both local and national conferences in sports medicine and was a team physician for Santa Monica College and CSU Los Angeles.
Family is Dr. Le’s greatest pride and joy, which makes him feel honored to extend a family environment to his patients within his profession.
I often reflect on what it truly means to be a “family” doctor. To know that this word, which is so simple, yet elemental to who I am as a person, will one day be a part of my professional title is the fuel that drives my unwavering commitment to my patients.
From the young age of 5, Dr. Le developed a deep-rooted love for soccer. Playing the sport led to two ACL surgeries on the same knee, which was a long and difficult recovery, but those injuries sparked his genuine interest in sports medicine.
The joy of regaining my identity from a catastrophic injury, and my wish to share this special feeling with others have led me towards a career in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Le finds his profession to be the highest honor and privilege to listen to each patient’s story when they are most vulnerable and channeling that vulnerability into meaningful and lasting connections. His ultimate goal is to attain a deeper understanding of his patient’s concerns and devise a comprehensive treatment plan that will improve their quality of life. He has a specialized interest in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound, orthobiologics, percutaneous tenotomy, barbotage, peripheral nerve hydrodissection, management of chronic tendinopathy and arthritis, and comprehensive wellness care for patients of all ages.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Le enjoys playing multiple sports including soccer, basketball, and running. He is passionate about volunteering and has covered several Special Olympics events as well as volunteered abroad on medical mission trips to Honduras and Vietnam.
Sports knows no boundaries and can touch and unite people from all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Le when I went into his office for the first time his staff was very friendly and kind Dr Le took his time reviewing the x-rays, then explain to me the problem on my shoulder he explained to me the procedure that he could do and most likely it would take care of the problem. I went in there. with severe pain on my shoulder and he explained to me the procedure he was gonna do most likely it was gonna take care of the problem. It would be a process of a couple weeks before I would feel much much better.

After my shoulder surgery over two weeks ago, my knee was an excruciating pain and with a maximum of nighttime sleep of two and three hours. Pain medication‘s sleeping additives, and every other trick was tried. It was only through Dr. Lee and his staff care tonight I may be able to sleep, I would recommend them to anyone. It sounds like they may even need a little more but they do very well with what they have.

Dr. Lee was prompt in attending to me. He didn’t leave me waiting in the exam room for an extended period of time, which I appreciated. He was compassionate and attentive to my health issues and took time to educate me on the exam. Dr Le provided a more comprehensive evaluation of my problem. My only criticism relates to how long I waited (about 7 weeks) before getting in to see him. While waiting, I continued to do exercises which unbeknownst to me (and according to Dr Le) actually keeping my injury from healing. Also, while waiting to see Dr Le, I was symptomatic so I was given approval to see an orthopedist. He gave me a cortisone injection which he & I thought would help. It didn’t. Dr Le later explained that cortisone was unlikely to help problems like mine. In summary while waiting to get in to see Dr Le I continued to do exercises which may have worsened my problem. Also my insurance paid for an office visit and injection which would not have been necessary had I seen Dr Le sooner.Several people told me how good Dr Le is. I agree but his skills can only help if you can get in to see him. Waiting had consequences for me.
